As a Digital Health Strategist with an MD-MBA background, Dr. Suraj Dhirwani is one of the few professionals in India who can speak the languages of both medicine and code fluently. As the Managing Director of Ekinwise Technologies and the founder of TechnoMedix®, he has lived the entire product lifecycle, from writing initial product roadmaps to navigating the “rigmarole” of venture capital and startup scaling.
His technical portfolio is highlighted by the development of the 5YLE EHR, a physician-first platform built on Government of India EHR guidelines, and the LY5E patient emergency ecosystem. Dr. Dhirwani’s expertise lies in “Compliance by Design,” ensuring that every digital tool, from interoperable health records to AI-driven diagnostic apps, is medicolegally sound and clinically intuitive.
His work with the Government of Himachal Pradesh on the HRP (High-Risk Pregnancy) App stands as a landmark in last-mile health delivery. By engineering a “lite” diagnostic tool that functioned in low-connectivity Himalayan foothills, he proved that technology can be a life-saving equaliser in the most resource-constrained environments.
