On 1st July 2009, I was one the many many eager people who wanted to be one of the 1st people to traverse the Bandra Worli Sea Link.
This Historic & monumental Bridge, connecting Bandra & worli, in mumbai, is one of the largest in Asia.
I have been watching it under construction since 2 years now & finally on that day I got to drive on it.
It was Amazing, such a proud feeling, almost felt like those bridges we see in movies abroad. A very beautiful view of Mumbai.
The Bridge by itself is superb, though only half complete.
It is just a small insight to the way Mumbai is going to change. There is so much more on its way, so many more positive changes we can expect.
But you know what matters most? The positive change we need to bring in ourselves. The citizens of Mumbai. The residents. They need beautification from inside.
The pan spitting, rowdy, vandals, anti-social, rule breaking, corrupting kind of people need to change.
& hopefully, we will see a very different Mumbai in the coming years…
Three Cheers for the BWSL.
